Highway Veterinary Hospital is a small-animal practice conveniently located and easily accessed in Bowie, Maryland. The practice was established in 1969, and has been owned and operated by Dr. Jim Peterson since 1981.
When you first visit our practice, the first thing that you notice is the beautiful koi pond out front! This is one of Dr. Jim’s hobbies, and it makes a beautiful and tranquil entrance to the practice. Inside the practice, you will be treated to a warm, inviting atmosphere, and a friendly and exceptionally compassionate staff.
We happily accept new clients and patients, and will do all that we can to make the transition to our practice a smooth one for you.
Here at Highway Veterinary Hospital, we understand that pets are an integral part of our lives. Whether your pet is visiting us for preventative care, or for a more serious issue, our Health Care Team will provide your pet with support and care, as well as offering you the knowledge of how best to help your companion.
